Its time to be a grown up.

So graduation happened and Kevin and I have spent our entire summer in limbo with LOTS of unanswered questions.


These questions have just now (two weeks before we have to move out) have started to get answered.

NO Kevin did not get the job with the SHSU Athletic Department. They couldnt afford to hire him.

YES Kevin got the internship with the Southland Conference in Frisco, TX.

YES Kevin has to give up doing 12th street sports bar

YES we have to move in with his parents in Arlington

NO we cant stay there for the entire 10 month internship

Its safe to say that things DID NOT go the way we wanted but we have to be fortunate for what we have and make the best of it.

I'm not ready to leave Huntsville but I have to do what I have to do, its very bittersweet. Im excited to move on with my life but the fact that Kevin isnt starting a salary job right away like we had hoped makes things a lot more difficult. I will have to postpone getting my teaching certification for awhile.

I have to find a job in Frisco and we have to find an apartment there as well. So whatever job I get that money will go towards bills as well as the little bit of pay Kevin will be getting from his internship. Plus we have to start paying back our loans in November.

I hate money.

At this point my life has been thrown all out of wack and I'm trying my best to deal with it. The hopes of getting engaged and married are a lot farther away then I originally hoped. Money is the biggest issue. We dont want to do it until we are financially stable and can afford to pay for our wedding and in order to have money we have to have steady jobs and by the looks of it thats at least a year to two years away. Its pretty disappointing but I guess there are bigger things to worry about at the moment.
